Oneiros

Photographic series and book design, Barcelona 2011 | Oneiros opens an eye to the beauty of the dream state. In dreams, our bodies are anchored in reality while our mind wanders in other realms. There is an inherent beauty to the moment where the mind surrenders and our consciousness reaches other spaces.

The vision of beauty in this series is achieved through lightpainting. Lightpainting is a photographic technique which consists on taking a long exposure photograph while moving a light source around the model. The surreal effect on the pictures is achieved with this technique. The photographs are not manipulated.
