|Andrea Bravo is an information UX designer and researcher. She has a scientific & artistic approach to problem-solving given her education and skillset.

Her specialty is looking at hybrid presentations with new media technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality and tangible user interfaces. She studies how to design, present and visualize information & data in immersive environments.

She is currently doing a PhD at Engineering Systems Design Group, DTU – The Technical University of Denmark. She holds a Bachelor of Arts specialized in Design from ELISAVA, School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona, and the University of Southampton; and a Master of Science in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.

Initially, she worked in the advertising, branding and fashion industry (Ogilvy, Chanel, Chloé) in Paris and Barcelona for 5 years before switching to research and engineering. Through an artistic-scientific collaboration she started visualizing human data (heart rate variability data) in her photography artwork. The project fostered her curiosity for areas such as cognitive science, technology and human-computer interaction that led her to a change in career direction towards research and initiatives merging technology | arts | science.
